The South Holston has been the place to be of late. The Watauga has been running a little big for my taste lately, sadly because I love the caddis bite. Thankfully the South Holston has been a consistent 1200cfs, which makes the whole river easily floated and very fishable. I've been spending most of my time on the lower river, but the whole river has been fishing well. This trend should continue for the foreseeable future. There are daily oppurtunities for fishing dries and the nymph bite has been consistently productive. As long as weather holds we're off to a good start this spring.
